WHAT
A team of international partners joined forces to set up the carbon2value project, which aims to help build a sustainable future. The goal was to explain this process in a fun and attractive way to the general public.
HOW
We transformed a scientific and complex story into an easy-to-understand script with an engaging visualization and animation.
Visual use of metaphors
This project is committed to a sustainable goal: to make our industry carbon neutral by 2050. To explain this chemical process and abstract matter in an approachable and playful way, we chose to use metaphors within a collage style. This makes the matter tangible and easy-to-process. To instantly engage the audience in the story, the video is utilized as an introduction in presentations.
Storyboard
In the storyboarding phase I visualize the script. This is where the storytelling comes in. After reasearch about the subject, I start sketching. While maintaining straightforward visuals, I translate the words and aim to convey the core message of the video.
Stefanie thought out great ideas to explain it in an easy way to people with no prior knowledge. A great strength for an animator! The collaboration was also very pleasant. Always punctual, correct and creative!
